Application of Reaming Shells:
Positioned directly above the core bit, a reaming shell holds hole gauge and keeps the drill string running true, protecting the more expensive bit and core barrel from the vibration and wear that comes with an undersized or out-of-round hole.
Features of Reaming Shells
– Diamond-impregnated and surface-set configurations available.
– Standard lengths of 6″ and 10″, with 18″ available by special order.
– Thermally stable polycrystalline (TSP) inserts used for ring protection.
– Wear-resistant matrix reinforced with carbide particles.
– Oversized OD and full-hole profile options.
– Covers all common DCDMA sizes.
More Introduction of Reaming Shells
Three configurations cover different budget and performance needs: RS runs on synthetic diamonds for consistent cutting, RX uses natural diamonds for a balance of performance and value, and RSX combines both natural and synthetic diamonds with TSP protection for the most demanding ground.

Specification of Reaming Shells
| Variant | Diamond Type |
| EDGE RS | Synthetic diamonds + TSP |
| EDGE RX | Natural diamonds + TSP |
| EDGE RSX | Natural + synthetic diamonds + TSP |
Note: Available in B, N, H, and P sizes, in both standard and oversized OD, with 1-ring and 2-ring configurations.
